 Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye

The General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) worldwide, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has called on government to increase funding for security with a view to securing Nigerians and their properties better.

Making the appeal yesterday during a prayer session with the military, para-military and their families titled, “Lord of Hosts” in Lagos, Adeboye urged the officers to always look up to God for constant victory, reminding them that their might was limited.

He recalled that during the civil war, certain weapons were manufactured within, urging government to revive that uncanny industry.Adeboye charged

Nigerians to rally round the President Muhammadu Buhari administration in finding a sustainable solution to the spiraling inflation in the country.

His words: “This is another battle the nation is facing which requires strategy and contribution of every Nigerian. Prices of goods and services continue to skyrocket everyday and while the government is required to come up with favourable policies, Nigerians are expected to cooperate and assist in any way they could for the nation to come out of the quagmire.

“This is a nation blessed with a lot of intelligent citizens and all the government should do is to encourage Nigerians to make use of their brain with favourable policies in place.”

He, however, appealed to the citizenry to be patient with the government in its effort to put things right, just as it advised the leadership to borrow a leaf from countries that had passed through this phase.
