El-Rufai Trying To Divert Attention From His Alleged Involvement In Apostle Suleman’s Scandal – Omokri

      RENO-OMOKRI

Reno Omokri, the former media aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan and a renowned critic of President Buhari and Governor Nasir El-Rufai has attacked the governor again.

Omokri on Friday 17, in a series of tweets asked why the governor of Kaduna state’s memo to President Buhari was only leaked days after founder of Omega Fire Ministry, Apostle Johnson Suleman, who is currently knee deep in extra-marital affairs allegation accused El-Rufai of plotting against him.

Omokri in his tweet said: “Why was El-Rufai’s memo to PMB (President Buhari) only leaked after Apostle Suleman raised alarm of El-Rufai’s sponsorship of his prostitute accuser?”

Omokri accused that the memo, which was believed to have been leaked was only a way by the Kaduna state governor to divert attention from himself.

Omokri said: “See how the narrative shifted from the trail of breadcrumbs behind the harlot to the memo. A classic diversion.”

“Hilary Clinton said ‘If I want to knock a story off front page I change my hairstyle’, by leaking the memo, El-Rufai changed his hairstyle.”

Omokri also mocked El-Rufai, saying by criticising President Buhari in a memo, El-Rufai is a tiger who finishes attacking it’s enemies and has none left, so it attacks its friends.

He said: “When a tiger finishes attacking it’s enemies and has none left, it attacks it’s friends. El-Rufai is a tiger. A tiger’s nature is to attack!”

Recall that El-Rufai had recently sent a powerful memo to President Muhammadu Buhari arguing that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has made the situation in Nigeria worse than it met it by failing to be proactive in taking key decisions in a timely manner.

Meanwhile, the Kaduna state governor, Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai, has commenced receiving lectures as a part-time PhD student of philosophy in governance and policy analysis at the United Nations University-Merit, Netherlands.

The Kaduna state government made this known in a statement after rumours started flying round that the governor was ill and has been flown abroad for medical attention.

An online publication by the university dated Tuesday, March 7, at 8.23pm noted that the university had received new intakes and among them was El-Rufai.
