Tim Tebow Calls on Christians to Stand Up for Faith

Tim Tebow has called on Christians in America to stand up for their faith. Speaking at a God’s Purpose for America” event in Tennessee, Tebow urged Christians to stand up for Judeo-Christian values and turn to God when your purpose in life seems unclear.

Tebow said, "What's amazing when you get up and do something is what God does in your life. We just have to get up and do something. When your identity is found in Christ, your identity never changes. You are always a child of God. That's why I always say I don't have to live the roller coaster that the rest of the world lives.”

The NFL star continued that he is a “Christian who happens to be an athlete” and his faith comes before football.

Tebow is anticipating a return to the NFL this season as he joins the Philadelphia Eagles for a one-year contract. He was previously cut from the New England Patriots in 2013.

Other achievements for Tebow include recently opening a charity children’s hospital in the Philippines, reports The Christian Post.
