T.B Joshua warns African leaders to desist from depending on foreign donors

T.B. Joshua
The founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet Temitope B. Joshua, has called on African continent to wake up and change its attitude of reliance on foreign donors. In his view, such attitude would not bring the desired development to Africa.
He said: “I will continue to tell African continent to awake and stop depending on Western and European donors. We cannot make it by so doing, and we may not make it at the end of the day. Life is sweet and meaningful, when it is about give and take.”

The founder also advised Nigerians to rededicate themselves to the service of God and Humanity by always reaching out to the poor, the less-privileged, orphans, widows and widowers.
He stated this, during a special service to commemorate his 54th birthday anniversary, held at the church’s headquarters in Ikotun-Egbe, Lagos.Admonishing church faithful on the theme: “It is time to rededicate ourselves,” the man of God said: “Let us use this period to rededicate ourselves to the service of God and humanity, especially, as the church is celebrating its birthday, because this is not my birthday, but yours.
“Therefore, we should be closer to God and do His will all the time. We should also improve on the way we relate with everyone around us. It is by doing so that God will increase and multiply us in everything. So, let us rededicate ourselves.”
Prophet Joshua also admonished his followers and Nigerians to settle with people they perceive as enemies. He said there are lots of blessings, when a Christian or an individual forgives both known and unknown adversaries. The birthday service was attended by over 80, 000 members of the church, who came from across the world.
